 TROOPS ARREST SUSPECTED KIDNAPPER, RECOVER AK-47 RIFLE ALONG BENIN–SAPELE ROAD Troops of 4 Brigade Nigerian Army, Operation WABAIZIGAN, have arrested a suspected kidnapper and recovered an AK-47 rifle and ammunition during a targeted operation along the Benin–Sapele Road in Ikpoba-Okha LGA of Edo State. The suspect, identified as Olamide Oyeniyi, was arrested on 12 September 2026 at Obaretin Community by troops conducting operations to disrupt criminal activities and safeguard major transportation routes within the area. Items recovered from the suspect include one AK-47 rifle, one magazine and eight rounds of 7.62mm Special ammunition. Other items recovered are one Tecno mobile phone, two bags, one torchlight, one music box and assorted charms. Popular socialite Sophia Egbueje has confirmed that she eventually bought a Lamborghini for herself after singer Burna Boy failed to fulfil his promise of buying one for her.

Recall that in a recent leaked audio recording between her and her friend, Sophia accused Burna Boy of having a one-night stand with her and failing to fulfil his promise of buying her a Lamborghini.

In what appeared to be a response to the socialite, Burna Boy in a freestyle video shared via his Instagram story, slammed an unnamed person for making a big fuss over his failure to buy her a Lamborghini.

Sophia has now confirmed that she bought herself a Lamborghini after Burna Boy reneged on his promise.

Flaunting the brand new Lamborghini via her Instagram story on Saturday, the socialite wrote, “My baby is here, as dem no buy am, I buy am.”
