 Nicole Kidman recalls the heartbreaking moment she found out her mom died Nicole Kidman has opened up about the heartbreaking moment she learned of her mother Janelle’s death just as she was about to accept a best actress award at the Venice International Film Festival.  The Babygirl star recalled being backstage when she received the news, saying she returned to her room “completely devastated” and unsure how she would move forward without her mother, who had been such a central part of her life. She described the “harrowing” attempt to leave Venice in the middle of the night to return to Australia, only to turn back, overwhelmed and alone.  Director Halina Reijn later read a statement on Kidman’s behalf, dedicating the award to Janelle and acknowledging the collision of art and life in that painful moment. Popular socialite Sophia Egbueje has confirmed that she eventually bought a Lamborghini for herself after singer Burna Boy failed to fulfil his promise of buying one for her.

Recall that in a recent leaked audio recording between her and her friend, Sophia accused Burna Boy of having a one-night stand with her and failing to fulfil his promise of buying her a Lamborghini.

In what appeared to be a response to the socialite, Burna Boy in a freestyle video shared via his Instagram story, slammed an unnamed person for making a big fuss over his failure to buy her a Lamborghini.

Sophia has now confirmed that she bought herself a Lamborghini after Burna Boy reneged on his promise.

Flaunting the brand new Lamborghini via her Instagram story on Saturday, the socialite wrote, “My baby is here, as dem no buy am, I buy am.”
