  Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, has commended Professor Nnenna Oti, Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, for her integrity and fearlessness during the 2023 election in Abia State. The governor's praise came during the wedding ceremony of Prof. Oti's daughter, Dr. Onyinyechi Orieoma, and Engr. Ugochukwu Peter, held in Ebonyi State. Governor Otti acknowledged Prof. Oti's refusal to succumb to pressure and her adherence to her conscience, which he believes led to his victory in the polls. He also addressed the coincidence of their similar names, which some had used to allege a relationship. However, Governor Otti clarified that he had never met Prof. Oti before her appointment as the returning officer for Abia State in 2023. The governor expressed his gratitude to Prof. Oti for her role in ensuring the integrity of the electoral process. He stated, "I want to use this podium to recognize her and thank her for what she did for Abia people....

Popular Nigerian crossdresser James Brown has announced that he is temporarily stepping away from his female persona due to financial difficulties.


In a post on his Instagram page on Friday, Brown appealed to his followers for support, stating that he needs assistance with advertisements and promotions to sustain himself.


The social media personality also revealed his aspiration to further his education, disclosing that he requires approximately N30 million for tuition fees alone.


He said, "Many people have been asking James, is it true you need help? I actually do. I need all the ads and promotions. In fact, I have turned to a boy right now. I have reached out to some friends. If you want to support, nothing is too small.


ā€œDonā€™t come laugh at someone whoā€™s trying to put everything together to go back to school.ā€


His announcement has sparked mixed reactions from netizens, with some questioning his decision to study abroad while others offered words of encouragement.
