 Nigerian makes US Most Wanted List over $1m fraud A Nigerian, Onoriode Ezewu, has been named on the United States Department of Labour’s first-ever Most Wanted List over allegations of money laundering involving fraudulent unemployment benefit claims worth more than $1m. The department’s Office of Inspector General unveiled the list on its website on Wednesday, naming 16 fugitives wanted in cases involving alleged fraud, identity theft, money laundering, labour trafficking and other offences. According to the agency, the cases collectively involve more than $55m allegedly stolen from American taxpayers. INDIA: IMAM ARRESTED FOR SEXUALLY ASSAULTING A MINOR. (PHOTO).

 A shocking incident has emerged from Barbali in Hojai, where a mosque imam has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor girl. The crime, which took place during the holy month of Ramadan, has sparked outrage in the local community.  


The accused, identified as Yahia Ahmed, was taken into custody by Debasthan police after the victim, a teenage student, filed a complaint. She alleged that the imam subjected her to sexual abuse, leading authorities to launch an immediate investigation.  


Following the complaint, Debasthan police arrested the accused and initiated legal proceedings. Officer-in-Charge Kailash Malakar confirmed the arrest and assured that the case is being handled as per legal protocols.  


The incident has drawn widespread condemnation, with demands for strict action against the accused. Authorities are continuing their investigation to ensure justice for the victim.
