Kenyan Govt has no treaty agreement with Vietnam that can allow a prisoner to be transferred to Kenya. There is no bilateral agreement between the two nations.
As of now, there is no Kenyan Embassy in Vietnam that could negotiate the transfer of Margaret Nduta.
Vietnam's law and the nature of crime Nduta committ€d has severe penalties compared to other countries. This shuts down the fate of Margaret Nduta.
Just imagne if Kenyan govt want to help Nduta, they have to write to Vietnam Embassy in Tanzania which will later pass information to Bangkok Embassy in Thailand which is the only accredited Embassy to directly talk to Vietnam Govt.
But I am sure if the Prime Cabinet secretary Musalia Mudavadi can try his best to reach out to Vietnam government even through a Vietnam Allie like Thailand president to stop the execution and give dialogue a chance I think it can work. On the other hand the hard drugs policy in Vietnam is seriously observed and I don't think if they're going to compromise on the same.
She tried to make ends meet though in the wrong way and it didn't work, who knows may be she tried the other positive side of live and it didn't work too.

"We understand that you sympathise with your citizen, our stand and laws on drugs and corruption are severe. They apply fully to everyone who breaks them, including our own Vietnamese. As a leader of Vietnam, I dont interfere when courts sentence even Vietnam drug dealers. It’s not a matter of citizenship but it’s a matter of the killer substances you are bringing to our children.
Again, how many Vietnamese arrested by Kenya have you pardoned?”.
