 Setting the Records Straight on  Citizen Asar Michael Sesugh's  Death The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,  considered it imperative to clear the air on some recent incidents at its Makurdi Zonal Directorate,  Benue State.   Operatives of the Directorate arrested 26 suspected cyber fraudsters on April 28,  2026.  They were profiled and kept in custody for further investigations after obtaining a Remand Order at a Magistrate Court.  Shortly after their arrest,  specifically on May 4,  2026,  three of the suspects sought permission to use the lavatory at the Directorate's  Holding Facility and were permitted.   They cashed in on the opportunity,  broke the toilet's roof and escaped from detention.  Several efforts were made to re- arrest them to no avail. Actress Iyabo Ojo has expressed gratitude and pride in how her good deeds have positively impacted her children.

In a recent interview with Seun Oloketuyi, Iyabo said she believes that her kids are reaping the benefits of her hard work and kindness.

Iyabo emphasised the value of self-reliance, noting that individuals must take care of themselves.

She also credited daughter, Priscilla, with encouraging her to join TikTok, which has generated significant income for her.

Iyabo said: “Good pay. I feel like what I am reaping today or my children are reaping today is the good that I have done.

“When I die today, nobody is dying with me. When I am hungry right now, no matter how much you love me, you won’t give me your womb or your intestines to quench my hunger; I have to sort myself out.

“Every man is on his own. When you have kids early, trust me you don’t want to grow old because your kids will always make you feel young. Priscilla talked me into using TikTok, if I didn’t have her in my life, I would probably not have made so much money on TikTok”.
