 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. NNPCL WARNS AGAINST FAKE RECRUITMENT ADVERTS, SAYS NO ONGOING HIRING. (PHOTO).

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has issued a warning to the public to be cautious of fraudulent recruitment advertisements circulating online. The company stated that it is not currently conducting any recruitment process.


In a statement released on its official social media handle on Friday, NNPCL cautioned job seekers against falling victim to fake recruitment schemes. The company emphasized that all legitimate job openings will only be announced through its official website and verified social media platforms.


NNPCL reiterated that its recruitment process is transparent, merit-based, and does not require external assistance. The company urged Nigerians to disregard any unofficial job advertisements claiming to be from NNPCL, as they could be attempts to defraud unsuspecting applicants.


The management assured the public that it remains committed to upholding the integrity of its hiring process and will notify Nigerians whenever recruitment officially commences. NNPCL advised the public to verify information directly from its official platforms to avoid being misled by scammers.
