 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. NNPCL WARNS AGAINST FAKE RECRUITMENT ADVERTS, SAYS NO ONGOING HIRING. (PHOTO).


 

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has issued a warning to the public to be cautious of fraudulent recruitment advertisements circulating online. The company stated that it is not currently conducting any recruitment process.


In a statement released on its official social media handle on Friday, NNPCL cautioned job seekers against falling victim to fake recruitment schemes. The company emphasized that all legitimate job openings will only be announced through its official website and verified social media platforms.


NNPCL reiterated that its recruitment process is transparent, merit-based, and does not require external assistance. The company urged Nigerians to disregard any unofficial job advertisements claiming to be from NNPCL, as they could be attempts to defraud unsuspecting applicants.


The management assured the public that it remains committed to upholding the integrity of its hiring process and will notify Nigerians whenever recruitment officially commences. NNPCL advised the public to verify information directly from its official platforms to avoid being misled by scammers.
