 MOTHER, 14-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER DIE IN ANAMBRA BUILDING COLLAPSE By Chinyere Nwoye  A three-storey building under construction has collapsed at Okpoko in Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State, killing a woman and her 14-year-old daughter. The incident occurred on Thursday morning, October 8, at No. 11 Emeka Ugwuanyi Street, by Anabanaba, Okpoko, amid heavy rainfall. The collapsed structure reportedly fell on a boys’ quarters located close to the building, trapping occupants who were inside at the time of the incident. The victims were identified as Mrs Happiness Ugoagu and her 14-year-old daughter, Miss Confidence, both indigenes of Uga in Aguata Local Government Area.  They were reportedly asleep when the building collapsed on the boys’ quarters. Following the incident, residents, sympathisers and emergency responders immediately mobilised to the scene in an effort to rescue the trapped persons and clear the debris. OHIO MAN ARRESTED AFTER THE 12-YEAR-OLD BOY HE FORCED INTO ICE BATHS TRAGICALLY DIES. (PHOTO).

 Ohio man arrested after the 12-year-old boy he forced into ice baths tragically dies.


Authorities were called to a home at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday (March 22nd) in Akron, Ohio.

The initial call was to report a 12-year-old boy was suffering from a cardiac arrest. EMS transported Jadako Taylor to Akron's Children's Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. It was recorded that Jadako had a body temperature of just 74 degrees when EMS responded to the scene...


As police began investigating this young boy's death, a chilling tale emerged.  According to reports by Akron Municipal Court, 23-year-old Anthony McCants caused the death of Jadako by forcing him into ice baths.


The courts allege McCants forced Jadako into 2 ice baths between 5 a.m. and 2 p.m. The first ice bath lasted approximately 45 minutes. Once Jadako was allowed out he was forced to do push ups and other exercises. 


He was then forced into a second ice bath that lasted around 30 minutes.  After his second ordeal Jadako began to vomit and seize, prompting the call to EMS.


Anthony McCants was arrested on felony child endangering and had his bond set at $500,000. He has pleaded not guilty.


May the young boy finally be able to rest in peace. This is a heartbreaking story and a terrible fate for the child.
