BLORD IS OUT FROM KUJE PRISON AFTER PERFECTING ALL HIS BAIL CONDITIONS.(PHOTO).

So Linus Williams (Blord) has been released from Kuje prison after fulfilling his bail conditions, finally, freedom after a few weeks in custody. However, here’s the current position of his case:  He is still expected to show up and stand his trial.  If he fails to appear in court even for one day, his bail can be revoked and a bench warrant may be issued against him, meaning a return to Kuje. If the prosecution cannot prove the charges against him, he will be discharged and acquitted. If the prosecution proves the charges, he may be sentenced and sent back to Kuje. I think he should seek a peaceful resolution to the case. Congrats to him on his freedom for now.

POLICE ARREST SUSPECTED ONE CHANCE GANG MEMBER, RECOVER OPERATIONAL VEHICLE

- Arrest Fake Expensive Alcohol Merchant after 5 month chase

Operatives of Rapid Response Squad (RRS) on Monday night arrested a member of a 4-man one-chance gang and recovered their operational Toyota Camry, 1999 model.

The operatives also arrested a suspected dealer of fake expensive spirit in Ikeja after five months of being on the run.

The suspected one–chance gang member, James Aniyah, 48 years old, was arrested around 8:00 p.m. near MKO Abiola Garden, Ojota while holding in their car a female victim the gang abducted at Allen Roundabout, Ikeja, Lagos.

The victim, a lady, was tricked into the gang’s vehicle around 7:00 p.m. on Monday on the pretext that the vehicle was heading to Mowe-Ibafo. The gang thereafter told the victim to cooperate while they tried to collect her phone and belongings.

The suspected 4-man gang was changing their vehicle’s flat tyre when RRS operatives on patrol stopped to check out what was going on. Three members of the gang fled while a member was arrested and rescued the victim, who the gang members had severely tortured to subdue her into releasing her mobile phones and other details.

The suspected fake expensive alcohol merchant, Nworie Benjamin, 40 years old, was first sighted in September, 2024, with cartons of empty bottles of precious alcohol in Maryland, Lagos.

The suspects fled the scene, abandoning the exhibits. Several efforts to bring him in for questioning proved abortive until Monday night when a lead yielded fruits leading to the arrest of the suspect.

Several exhibits of expensive wines were recovered from the suspect’s shop in Ikeja.

The two suspects along with exhibits have been transferred to the Lagos State Command, Ikeja and SCID, Panti for further investigations.
