 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event.  Reps Member ‘Walks Again After Healing’ By Pastor Oyakhilome’s Son


A dramatic moment unfolded at a healing service led by Pastor Daysman Oyakhilome, son of renowned Pastor and founder of Christ Embassy, Chris Oyakhilome, as a member of Nigeria’s House of Representatives, Hon. Marcus Onobun, from Edo State, who had been unable to walk for some time, regained his legs and walked unaided.


The incident, which was captured on a video, has since gone viral, sparking widespread reactions across social media. In the footage, the former speaker of Edo State House of Assembly stands and walks with apparent ease, leaving onlookers astonished.


While many hailed the event as a miraculous divine healing, others remained skeptical, questioning its authenticity.


A social media user, @SamsonUgochuks, reacting to the video in Pidgin English, tweeted, “This video just dey trend everywhere, before you know dem go say na arranged. This is a Member of House of Rep o; he no dey hungry ooooo.”


Another user, @James__Ade, responded in defence of the miracle, writing: “CHURCH HATERS go cry tire for comment… Miracles are real, I BELIEVE IN MIRACLES, and Pastor Daysman Oyakhilome is genuinely heavy anointed as well.”.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
