 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  Villagers Catch Livestock Thieves in Eastern Cape


Residents of a rural village in the Eastern Cape have caught three suspected livestock thieves. The community acted swiftly after noticing suspicious activity, leading to the capture of the trio.


Livestock theft remains a major problem in the region, as criminals often target small-scale black farmers, sometimes resorting to violence, including fatal shootings. Many villagers rely on their cattle, goats, and sheep for their livelihoods, making these crimes devastating.


It is not yet clear what the villagers did with the suspects, but the hope is that they handed them over to the authorities rather than resorting to mob justice. Police are expected to investigate the matter further.
