 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. SALLAH CELEBRATION: Commissioner of Police Orders Comprehensive Security Measures and Deployment of Adequate personnels


The Bauchi State Police Command extends warm greetings to the Muslim community on the occasion of the 1446AH/2025 Eid-el-Fitr celebration, signifying the conclusion of the Ramadan fasting period.


Under the distinguished leadership of Commissioner of Police, CP Sani-Omolori Aliyu, psc (+), mni, the Command is dedicated to implementing robust security measures and ensuring a conducive environment for prayer across the State. The safety of lives and property remains the highest priority for the Police.


The Command has established extensive security protocols to achieve this objective, including deploying mufti-uniformed personnel for intelligence gathering. These officers will report to the Command’s central control room to preemptively address potential threats to peace and security before and during the festive period. 


CP Sani-Omolori Aliyu, psc (+), mni has Directed all Area Commanders, Tactical Commanders, and Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) to maintain heightened visibility patrols in areas identified as black spots or flashpoints within their respective Areas of Responsibility (AORs). It is essential to convey a message to individuals considering disruptions to the procession: it is advised to reconsider their actions. They are encouraged to either participate in the festivities, approach the Police for rehabilitation, or face appropriate legal consequences for any unlawful actions.


The Command urges citizens to promptly report suspicious activities to the nearest Police Station for immediate response. Additionally, citizens may submit complaints via the Police Rescue Me App or contact emergency numbers 08151849417 and 09053872273.


We remain steadfast in our commitment to providing a safe and secure environment for all citizens during the festive season.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
