Otti Slams Julius Abure Over Continued Sale of Labour Party Nomination Forms Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, has strongly criticised the former National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), Julius Abure, for proceeding with the sale of governorship nomination forms despite opposition from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and subsisting court rulings. The incident, which followed her successful performance in Sydney, left the audience frustrated. Videos from the event showed concertgoers booing and shouting, “Go back!” as Kakkar finally took the stage.

Visibly emotional, the 36-year-old singer broke down in tears while addressing the crowd. Apologizing for the delay, she expressed her regret, saying, “Itni der se aap log wait kar rahe ho (You have been waiting for so long). I hate it. Maine life mein kabhi kisi ko wait nahi karwaya (I’ve never made anyone wait in my entire life).” She thanked the audience for their patience, describing them as “sweet” and promising to make it up to them by giving her best performance.

Despite the rocky start, Kakkar tried to win back the audience by acknowledging their disappointment and vowing to make the evening memorable. “You mean the world to me. I’ll always remember this evening forever,” she told the crowd, promising to make them dance and enjoy the show.

The incident sparked mixed reactions online, with some fans sympathizing with the singer’s emotional apology, while others criticized the unprofessional delay. Nonetheless, Kakkar’s tearful appeal and dedication to her fans left a lasting impression on the night.
