 NIGERIAN ARMY NEUTRALISE IPOB/ESN OPERATIVES, RECOVER ARMS AND IEDS IN ANAMBRA Troops of Sector 5, Joint Task Force South-East Operation UDO KA, in conjunction with sister services and other security agencies, have recorded a major operational success against members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its armed affiliate, the Eastern Security Network (ESN), in Anambra State. Acting on credible intelligence on armed criminals reportedly masquerading in military camouflage and Nigeria Police uniforms to perpetrate violent attacks, the joint security team swiftly mobilised and tracked the suspects along the Ogboji–Ajali axis in Orumba South Local Government Area on 23 June 2026. The suspects were intercepted while moving in a white Toyota Sienna vehicle, leading to a fierce firefight during which three ESN operatives were neutralised.  Singer-Songwriter Angie Stone Dead at 63 

Angie left a performance in Montgomery, Alabama early Saturday morning when she was killed in a car crash. 

Sources say she and 9 people were traveling in a sprinter van when the driver lost control, it flipped several times before being hit by an 18 wheeler . 

Angie Stone, born Angela Laverne Brown on December 18, 1961, in Columbia, South Carolina, rose to fame with The Sequence along with Cheryl “The Pearl” Cook and Gwendolyn “Blondie” Chisolm, known for hits like “Funk You Up” and “Funky Sound.”
