 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  Tinubu Approves Licences for 11 New Private Universities  


President Bola Tinubu has granted provisional licences for the establishment of 11 new private universities across Nigeria.  


The approval was announced on Monday during the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, as disclosed in a statement by the President’s Special Adviser on Media & Public Communication, Sunday Dare.  


Below is the list of the newly approved universities:  


1. New City University, Ayetoro, Ogun State  

2. University of Fortune, Igbotako, Ondo State  

3. Eranova University, Mabushi, Abuja  

4. Minaret University, Ikirun, Osun State  

5. Abubakar Toyin University, Oke-Agba, Kwara State  

6. Southern Atlantic University, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State  

7. Lens University, Ilemona, Kwara State  

8. Monarch University, Iyesi-Ota, Ogun State  

9. Tonnie Iredia University of Communication, Benin City, Edo State  

10. Isaac Balami University of Aeronautics and Management, Lagos State  

11. Kevin Eze University, Mgbowo, Enugu State  


According to the statement, Tinubu remains committed to expanding educational opportunities and enhancing infrastructure to support learning in Nigeria.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
