 Anambra LG Commissioner Warns Against Politicising Town Union Offices, Urges Focus on Development ‎By Chisom Okpala ‎ ‎The Anambra State Commissioner for Local Government and Community Affairs, Barr. Vin Ezeaka, has cautioned individuals who perceive the positions of President-General and Town Union Executive as political offices to desist from such notions. He advised that these institutions should remain dedicated to community development and the collective interests of the people. ‎ ‎Barr. Ezeaka made this admonition on Friday, June 5, while receiving the Ugbenu Town Union Executive in his office at the Old Government House, Awka.  UNITED STATES DEFENSE ATTACHE TO NIGERIA PAYS COURTESY CALL ON FLAG OFFICER COMMANDING NAVAL DOCTRINE COMMAND

On Thursday 13 March 2025, the Defence Attaché of the United States Colonel Tom Brooks and his delegation paid a courtesy visit to the Flag Officer Commanding Naval Doctrine Command (FOC NAVDOC), Rear Admiral Shehu Usman Gombe. The visit underscored the strong collaboration between the US Navy and Nigerian Navy, in the area of training and sea exercises. 


Further discussions explored collaboration in maritime research, policy development and strategic studies. 


In his remarks, the FOC NAVDOC explained the Command’s mission which is to enhance NN operational readiness through doctrinal development, training assessments, and compliance evaluation. 


The visit was concluded with gratitude for the engagement and a reaffirmation of commitment to sustained partnership and cooperation.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
