 Sudan war: Hundreds of civilians displaced in latest South Kordofan's violence A total of 570 civilians were displaced from Kadugli, the capital of South Kordofan, over a three-day period due to deteriorating security conditions, the UN International Organization for Migration (IOM) said. The organisation said in a statement that its tracking teams recorded the displacement of 570 people from Kadugli between 8 and 10 January, as insecurity escalated in the city. The displaced families headed toward areas in White Nile State, southern Sudan. The situation in Kadugli remains “tense and volatile,” the agency said, adding that its teams are continuing to closely monitor developments on the ground. Last week, IOM reported that the number of displaced people across Sudan’s three Kordofan states, North, West and South, had risen to 64,890 between 25 October and 30 December 2025.  UNITED STATES DEFENSE ATTACHE TO NIGERIA PAYS COURTESY CALL ON FLAG OFFICER COMMANDING NAVAL DOCTRINE COMMAND

On Thursday 13 March 2025, the Defence Attaché of the United States Colonel Tom Brooks and his delegation paid a courtesy visit to the Flag Officer Commanding Naval Doctrine Command (FOC NAVDOC), Rear Admiral Shehu Usman Gombe. The visit underscored the strong collaboration between the US Navy and Nigerian Navy, in the area of training and sea exercises. 


Further discussions explored collaboration in maritime research, policy development and strategic studies. 


In his remarks, the FOC NAVDOC explained the Command’s mission which is to enhance NN operational readiness through doctrinal development, training assessments, and compliance evaluation. 


The visit was concluded with gratitude for the engagement and a reaffirmation of commitment to sustained partnership and cooperation.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
