 ‘Friend Of A Thief Is A Thief’, Defence Minister Warns Terrorist Sponsors The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (rtd), has cautioned Nigerians against aiding terrorists, insurgents, bandits, or other criminal elements, stressing that anyone who supports criminal activities will face the full weight of the law. General Musa made the warning on Saturday while speaking as the Special Guest of Honour at the Armed Forces Celebration and Remembrance Day 2026 Golf Tournament held at the TYB Golf Resort and Country Club, Yar’Adua Barracks, Abuja.  WhatsApp group admin shot dead for allegedly removing member.


A man has been charged with murd£r after allegedly fatally shooting the administrator of a community WhatsApp group who removed him from the chat, police said Saturday, March 8.


Mushtaq Ahmed was shot dead on Thursday evening, March 6, in Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a province that borders Afghanistan, which has a history of bloody sectarian violence.


A Pakistani man named only as Ashfaq has been charged with his murd£r, according to police documents seen by AFP and a local police official.


Mushtaq allegedly removed Ashfaq from the WhatsApp group following an argument, according to a statement by Mushtaq’s brother seen by AFP.


He said that both parties had arranged to meet and reconcile but alleges that Ashfaq turned up with a gun and opened fire, k!lling his brother.


Ashfaq was angry “in reaction to removal from WhatsApp group,” according to his statement.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
