 Abia State Governor, Dr Alex Otti, OFR, has approved 100 hectares of land within the Abia Airport Project Site for the Nigerian Air Force to build its training base in Abia State. The Nigeria Air Force had requested an expansion of the 50 hectares of land already earmarked for its training base at the Abia Airport Project Site.  Governor Otti gave the approval on Tuesday, March 10th, in his office while receiving a delegation of the Nigeria Air Force (NAF), Ground Training Command led by the Commander, Air Vice Marshal Adebayo Gabriel Kehinde, who called on him. "The partnership is such that Abia State Government is handling the runway, and the Federal Government is handling the Airport Terminal.  "We expect the runway to be ready very soon.  WhatsApp group admin shot dead for allegedly removing member.


A man has been charged with murd£r after allegedly fatally shooting the administrator of a community WhatsApp group who removed him from the chat, police said Saturday, March 8.


Mushtaq Ahmed was shot dead on Thursday evening, March 6, in Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a province that borders Afghanistan, which has a history of bloody sectarian violence.


A Pakistani man named only as Ashfaq has been charged with his murd£r, according to police documents seen by AFP and a local police official.


Mushtaq allegedly removed Ashfaq from the WhatsApp group following an argument, according to a statement by Mushtaq’s brother seen by AFP.


He said that both parties had arranged to meet and reconcile but alleges that Ashfaq turned up with a gun and opened fire, k!lling his brother.


Ashfaq was angry “in reaction to removal from WhatsApp group,” according to his statement.
