 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. Akpabio Told Yahaya Bello to Kill Me in Kogi - Natasha Makes Fresh Revelation


Nigerians should hold Governor Ã’dodo, Yahaya Bello, and Senate President Godswill Akpabio fully accountable.


This warning follows her earlier statement in which she affirmed her intention to proceed with her planned visit to her constituency for the Eid-el-Fitr celebration and the rally for her homecoming.


She also encouraged her supporters to ignore rumors suggesting that she has canceled her visit.

The beleaguered lawmaker emphasized her official duty as the representative of her constituents.


She called on her supporters to come out in large numbers to celebrate Eid-el-Fitr with her.


On Monday, the Kogi State Government prohibited rallies and public gatherings in the state due to "security reports."


The government also banned fishing and other activities, citing recent incidents that resulted in two fatalities in Kasemiya, Katubo, and Umozu Ette, all located in the Kogi Local Government Area in Kogi West.


Commissioner for Information Kingsley Fanwo stated that this action was taken to prevent any potential security threats that could destabilize the state.


Likewise, the Kogi Police Command advised Akpoti-Uduagan to cancel her planned Sallah rally.
