 LASG REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO END TUBERCULOSIS IN COMMUNITIES IN LAGOS STATE The Lagos State Government on Tuesday reaffirmed its commitment to completely eradicate Tuberculosis (TB) at the grassroots level across the metropolis.  The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health District III, Dr. Monsurat Adeleke made this known during a courtesy visit by the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria team to her Ikoyi office, emphasising the present administration's commitment to continually prioritise health security across the state. She said the Lagos State First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu, is a Tuberculosis (TB) champion with the mandate of ending TB now and the continuous expansion of TB scale-up diagnostic centres.  According to her, “The First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu is a TB champion.  Anambra Assembly Confirms Muogbo As Accountant General Of Local Governments

The Anambra State House of Assembly has confirmed Mrs. Nneoma Muogbo as the Accountant General of Local Governments in the state.


The confirmation followed a letter sent to the House by Governor Chukwuma Soludo, nominating Mrs. Muogbo for the position.


Presenting the report of the House Committee on Screening, the Chairman of the Committee and Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Chukwuma Okoye, said that the committee conducted a thorough screening of the nominee and found her worthy and qualified for the office.


The Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze, charged the new Accountant General to bring her wealth of experience to bear and discharge her duties diligently in line with stipulated laws to advance the local government system.


In her vote of thanks, Mrs. Muogbo expressed gratitude to the House for the confirmation and assured that she would bring positive change to the local government administration.
