 Chawai Community Appeals To Gov. Uba Sani For Relief, Medical Support After Deadly Kauru Attack The people of Chawai Chiefdom in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State have appealed to Governor Uba Sani to provide urgent relief and medical assistance to victims of the deadly attack on Naridon village in Kamaru Ward. In an open letter addressed to the governor, the community commended his leadership, describing his administration as inclusive and fair. They said this had given residents confidence that every community in the state is valued. The community, however, expressed concern over what it described as the lack of government intervention following the attack on Naridon village, in which it said 30 people were killed. According to the letter, many survivors and families of the victims are still struggling with grief, trauma, displacement, and the challenges of caring for those injured in the attack.  *SECURITY INFORMATION FROM NDI ANAMBRA: ANAMBRA POLICE NOTES THAT RESIDENTS ARE TIRED OF CRIMINALS THREATENING THEIR PEACE AND DESTROYING ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES ON MONDAY AND EXPRESS MORE ZEAL TO COLLABORATE WITH THE SECURITY AGENCIES


The Anambra State Police Command today 21st April 2025, after necessary security assessment and feedback on the *Operation Udo Ga Chi - Zero Kidnapping* operations revealed that *Ndi Anambra* is exhausted with criminals threatening their peace and destroying economic activities of the State, especially on Monday. They have also exhibited more commitment to collaborate with security agencies to fish out the bad eggs within the State.


Consequently, the State Commissioner of Police *CP Ikioye Orutugu fwc MNIPS PhD*, has expressed his delight over the improved resilience of residents over the Monday Sit-At-Home. He has further assured of the implementation of various security initiatives to enhance safety, foster community engagement and uphold the rule of law. 


*Operation Udo Ga Chi - Zero Kidnapping and other violent crimes* is intelligence-driven with Joint Security targeted patrols with the Operatives posted to identify locations like Awka, Nnewi, Ihiala, Onitsha, Ogidi, Otuocha and some other places with Armoured Personnel Carriers (APC) on the alert. 


This strategic move is aimed at reinforcing public confidence as well as ensuring the continued safety and security of all residents.
