 Nicole Kidman recalls the heartbreaking moment she found out her mom died Nicole Kidman has opened up about the heartbreaking moment she learned of her mother Janelle’s death just as she was about to accept a best actress award at the Venice International Film Festival.  The Babygirl star recalled being backstage when she received the news, saying she returned to her room “completely devastated” and unsure how she would move forward without her mother, who had been such a central part of her life. She described the “harrowing” attempt to leave Venice in the middle of the night to return to Australia, only to turn back, overwhelmed and alone.  Director Halina Reijn later read a statement on Kidman’s behalf, dedicating the award to Janelle and acknowledging the collision of art and life in that painful moment. ANOTHER CHILD SADLY LOST HIS LIFE AFTER BEING FATALLY STRUCK BY A SCHOOL BUS.(PHOTO).

 Another child sadly lost his life after being fatally struck by a school bus.


6-year-old Mason Richards lost his life this morning due to injuries sustained after he was struck by a school bus in New Orleans.


New Orleans PD is investigating the death although at this point they say they do not believe the bus driver was impaired. It appears that this was just a tragic accident. 


According to reports, Mason was exiting a family members car and trying to catch the bus when he was struck and killed on Desire Street.


A spokesperson for KIPP schools (where Mason attended) released a statement saying, "Our thoughts are with his family and our entire community during this incredibly difficult time". 


Rest in peace, Mason. Our thoughts are with everyone involved.
