 Veekee James and Husband Femi Atere Welcome Their First Child Together Veekee James and her husband, Femi Atere, have welcomed their first child together. The celebrity designer announced the birth of their baby through a series of beautiful family photos shared online, alongside an emotional message describing the newborn as a special blessing and the start of a new chapter in their lives. Sharing the announcement, she wrote: “She’s Here 🤍 @elianaatere 🥹 02-May-26 Eliana Adeife Atere ❤️ EL (God) and ANA (He has answered), signifying “My God has answered” 1 Samuel 1:27 – “For this child I prayed; and the Lord hath given me my petition which I asked of him.”” Following the announcement, fans, colleagues, and well-wishers across the entertainment and fashion industries flooded social media with congratulatory messages for the couple. BOAT RACING: LAGOS SET TO MAKE HISTORY AS FIRST AFRICAN CITY TO HOST E1 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP


In a groundbreaking move solidifying its position as a hub of innovation and a key player on the global stage, Lagos has announced its selection as the first African city to host a race in the prestigious UIM E1 World Championship. The race is organised by PIF (E1) series

The high-profile electric boat racing event is scheduled to electrify the city's waterways on October 4th and 5th, 2025.




The landmark opportunity underscores Lagos State's rising global prominence and its unwavering commitment to pioneering sustainability initiatives and technological advancement. 




Lagos, celebrated for its vibrant culture, burgeoning tech ecosystem, and robust economic growth, will make history by hosting this cutting-edge championship. Its strategic coastal location along the Atlantic Ocean offers an ideal natural arena for the electric racing series, spotlighting Africa's increasingly vital role in shaping the future of clean technologies.




Speaking on the epoch-making event, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu affirmed the significance of the achievement, saying, "Lagos State embodies the spirit of energy, enterprise, and relentless progress. We are immensely proud to partner with the E1 World Championship to bring this groundbreaking event to our shores."




"This collaboration not only presents a unique opportunity to showcase the dynamism of Lagos to a global audience but also serves as a powerful catalyst for promoting sustainable practices and inspiring our vibrant youths to embrace innovation and environmental stewardship", Sanwo-Olu said.




Rodi Basso, CEO of E1, highlighted Lagos's pivotal role in the championship's expansion during a recent interview with Forbes.com.




His words: "The decision to bring the E1 series to Africa, and specifically to Lagos, marks a significant milestone for the championship. Lagos is a city brimming with potential, a place where innovation thrives and where there is a palpable drive for progress. We recognise the immense opportunity here to not only stage an exciting race but also ignite conversations around sustainable technology and inspire the next generation of environmentally conscious leaders."


The Lagos State Government is working in close collaboration with the E1 organisation to ensure the seamless execution of this historic event.




Comprehensive preparations are underway, encompassing logistics, robust community engagement initiatives, and the forging of strategic partnerships to maximize the event's impact and legacy.




Lagos stands poised to welcome the world and demonstrate its leadership in Africa's transformative era.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
