First introduced as a pilot scheme in 2025, the policy targets applicants seeking B1 and B2 visas, which are designated for business and tourism.  Boko Haram Kills Seven Mourners in Fresh Borno Attack


Suspected Boko Haram terrorists attacked a mourning gathering in Kopl Village, Chibok LGA, Borno State on Monday, killing at least seven people and injuring several others.


The ambush occurred around 6 p.m. during funeral prayers, with victims rushed to Mubi General Hospital in Adamawa State. Chibok LGA Chairman Modu Mustapha confirmed the incident, warning the death toll may rise as search operations continue.


The attack came hours after an IED explosion killed dozens along Gamboru Ngala-Kala Balge Road. Senator Ali Ndume condemned the rising insecurity, noting over 100 people have died in similar attacks across Borno in the past month.
