 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  Colombia Declares National Emergency as Yellow Fever Outbreak Claims 34 Lives


Colombia has declared a national health and economic emergency following a deadly yellow fever outbreak that has killed 34 people out of 74 confirmed cases since January.


Health Minister Guillermo Jaramillo said the mosquito-borne virus, which carries a fatality rate of nearly 50%, has spread beyond traditional rural zones, now posing a wider threat. The hardest-hit area is Tolima, where cases jumped from four last September to 22 by mid-April.


Authorities are urging mass vaccination and caution during Easter travel. Travelers in and out of the country may soon be required to present vaccination cards.


President Gustavo Petro attributed the outbreak’s spread to climate change and warned unvaccinated citizens to avoid high-risk regions, especially the coffee belt. Meanwhile, the U.S. CDC has raised its yellow fever alert for parts of South America, including Colombia.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
