 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.  Dangote Refinery Slashes Petrol Price to ₦835/Litre


Dangote Refinery has cut the ex-depot price of petrol to ₦835 per litre—a ₦30 drop from last week’s ₦865, and a ₦45 reduction from ₦880 earlier this month. This marks the third price cut in six weeks.


The new rate, confirmed via pro forma invoice and petroleumprice.ng, includes statutory charges from the NMDPRA. Diesel remains at $608 plus surcharges, while jet fuel stands at $664.75 with added costs. Coastal sales and LPG remain on hold.


The cut aligns with declining landing costs, now at ₦853 per litre, and comes amid the approval of 117,000 metric tonnes of petrol imports between April 8–16.


This also follows the renewed implementation of the Naira-for-Crude policy, a long-term initiative aimed at boosting local refining and easing FX pressures.
