 Super eagles coach Eric Chelle has signed for a new sports agency to represent him henceforth.  Eric Chelle, head coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, has signed with a new sports agency to represent him going forward.  The move is expected to strengthen his professional management and strategic engagements within the global football space.

  Delta Governor Oborevwori Defects from PDP to APC


Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has officially defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), following a closed-door meeting at the Government House in Asaba on Wednesday.


The Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, confirmed the move in a phone conversation with journalists. Ahon stated that Oborevwori’s decision came after extensive consultations with political stakeholders and was driven by the interest of Delta State’s long-term development.


Oborevwori, who secured the 2023 gubernatorial election under the PDP, was welcomed by senior APC officials. Political analysts describe the defection as a strategic realignment with significant implications for the 2027 general elections.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
