 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  DSS Reassures Corps Members of Safety in Abia


The Department of State Services (DSS) in Abia State has reaffirmed its commitment to the safety and security of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members serving in the state.


The assurance was given by the State Director of DSS, Ibrahim Abdullahi, during a visit by the Abia NYSC Coordinator, Mrs. Gladys Adama, and her management team to the DSS headquarters in Umuahia.


Abdullahi pledged continued collaboration and support, adding that the command would conduct a vulnerability assessment of all NYSC facilities in the state and take necessary action to enhance security.


He also cautioned corps members against embarking on unauthorized trips due to associated risks and encouraged them to maintain a positive attitude and contribute meaningfully during their service year.


Earlier, Mrs. Adama appreciated the DSS for its past support and sought further assistance ahead of the upcoming 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream I orientation course.


Following the visit, a DSS team conducted an on-the-spot assessment of the NYSC state secretariat along Finbarr’s Road, Umuahia.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
