 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom. S. A: FOUR KILLED IN HEAD-ON COLLISION ON R23 ROAD. (PHOTOS)

 Four Killed in Head-On Collision on R23 Road


Four people lost their lives in a tragic head-on collision between a sedan and a Ford Ranger bakkie on the R23 road between Balfour and Greylingstad last night.


The victims include the drivers of both vehicles and two passengers. One passenger from the bakkie sustained minor injuries and received treatment at Suikerbosrand Life Care Hospital in Heidelberg. He has since been discharged.


According to Moet Mmusi, spokesperson for the Mpumalanga Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison, the sedan involved in the collision was being towed at the time of the crash. The other sedan, which was towing it, was not damaged and its driver was unharmed.


The exact cause of the accident is still unclear, and an investigation is underway.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
