  Chikun/Kajuru Rep, Hon. Fidelix Bagudu, Announces New Appointments To Strengthen Inclusive Governance The Honourable Member representing the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, Hon. Fidelix Joseph Bagudu, has announced a wide-ranging list of new appointments aimed at deepening inclusive governance and enhancing representation across the constituency. The appointments, which take immediate effect, were unveiled in alignment with Kaduna State Governor Senator Uba Sani’s commitment to participatory governance. According to the lawmaker’s office, the list reflects deliberate efforts to ensure fair representation of all wards, communities, and interest groups across Chikun and Kajuru Local Government Areas (LGAs). A statement issued by the Media and Publicity Directorate noted that the move also fulfills the Honourable Member’s campaign pledge to integrate every segment of the constituency into the decision-making and governance structure.  Gospel artists in music to make money just like afrobeats stars – Spyro


Nigerian singer, Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, popularly known as Spyro, has claimed that many gospel artists are in the music business to make money.

He claimed that there was no difference between the gospel artists and their secular counterparts, who perform for financial gratification.

The self-acclaimed ‘Jesus boy’ made the claim in a recent episode of Hip TV programme, Trending, hosted by Pascal.

He said, “The people that claim to be gospel artists or gospel ministers are just artists -they are in the business to make money just like us in the Afrobeats industry.”

Spyro also spoke on the pressure female artists face in the music industry.

“There is a lot of pressure on female artists to do crazy things. Tems is holding it down decently yet she is one of the biggest [female artists] in the world right now. She is decent. She has it together.

“Sometimes, I’m just like, how is she able to do this? We should put Tems out there for our young ladies to be looking up to as a role model,” he said.
