  Chikun/Kajuru Rep, Hon. Fidelix Bagudu, Announces New Appointments To Strengthen Inclusive Governance The Honourable Member representing the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, Hon. Fidelix Joseph Bagudu, has announced a wide-ranging list of new appointments aimed at deepening inclusive governance and enhancing representation across the constituency. The appointments, which take immediate effect, were unveiled in alignment with Kaduna State Governor Senator Uba Sani’s commitment to participatory governance. According to the lawmaker’s office, the list reflects deliberate efforts to ensure fair representation of all wards, communities, and interest groups across Chikun and Kajuru Local Government Areas (LGAs). A statement issued by the Media and Publicity Directorate noted that the move also fulfills the Honourable Member’s campaign pledge to integrate every segment of the constituency into the decision-making and governance structure.  GT Bank driver Mohammed Abo’ore stabbed to death while assisting security officials


The Police Command in Niger has confirmed a stabbing incident that resulted to the death of a community member, Mohammed Abo’ore in the Fadikpe area of Minna.

The Police Public Relations Officer in Niger, Waisu Abiodun, confirmed this in Minna on Monday.

He said that the victim was assisting members of vigilance group in apprehending miscreants who were smoking cannabis in the area.

Abiodun added that during an arrest attempt, one of the suspects, Nura Buhari, stabbed Abo’ore with scissors and escaped.

He noted that Abo’ore was rushed to General Hospital Minna, where he was pronounced dead.

He said one suspect, Abdullahi Rabiu, was arrested and is currently under investigation and assisting the police with further information to help track the fleeing suspects.

Meanwhile, a resident of the area who preferred anonymity, said the deceased was a driver with GT Bank in Minna.

He said the incident occurred around 10 p.m. on Sunday night, adding that the deceased was known for promoting peace in the community.
