 HERDSMEN KILL DRIVER ON HUMANITARIAN MISSION IN TARABA STATE  10th January, 2026      A commercial driver, Mr. Amishe Omeny, has been killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen while on a humanitarian visit to a displaced community in Takum Local Government Area of Taraba State. The deceased, from Tse Amise after Tseem, was reportedly attacked on Friday within Chanchanji Ward as he travelled to Adokia, a displaced settlement located after Tseem Sabe. He was said to have gone to the area to assist villagers with the transportation of foodstuffs. Sources in the community told Benue Info-pedia, that Omeny volunteered his services as a driver to support residents affected by ongoing insecurity, when he was ambushed and killed by the assailants. The killing has sparked grief and outrage among residents, who described the incident as tragic and senseless.  Kwara Govt donates 150 off-road motorcycles to Nigerian Army


•LGAs acquire 320 motorcycles to boost vigilantes' security operations 


In a bid to further strengthen security operations and maintain peace across Kwara State, His Excellency Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq-led Kwara State Government has donated 150 off-road motorcycles to the Nigerian Army.


The motorcycles are expected to enhance troops' mobility and effectiveness, particularly in rugged terrains such as forests, where non-state actors may be hiding with intent to destabilise the peaceful atmosphere of the state.


This strategic intervention follows recent reports of the disturbances of non-state actors in parts of Kwara South and Kwara North. 


In response, on Monday, April 21, 2025, Governor AbdulRazaq led a high-powered joint security delegation on an operational assessment tour to the Kaiama Local Government Area in Kwara North.


Within 24 hours of the tour, the Governor also held a strategic meeting with the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Olufemi Olatubosun Oluyede, in his office at Ahmadu Bello House, Ilorin, who assured him of the Army’s readiness to collaborate with other security agencies to restore peace in the affected areas.


Governor AbdulRazaq has consistently supported the security agencies across the state. A few months ago, his administration donated vehicles and motorcycles to the 22 Armoured Brigade of the Nigerian Army.


Meanwhile, in a complementary move, local government authorities across the state have also acquired 320 motorcycles for strategic deployment of vigilante operatives, further consolidating Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s commitment to a peaceful and secure Kwara State.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
