BOYNE : Limpopo MEC for Transport and Community Safety, Violet Mathye says six fatalities have been reported on Limpopo roads since the beginning of the Easter weekend.
Mathye says two drivers and four passengers were confirmed dead, translating to three women and three men since Thursday.
She was speaking to the media ahead of attending the Easter Conference at ZCC Moria headquarters in Boyne on Sunday afternoon.
Mathye says four fatalities happened in the Waterberg District, one in the Mopani District and one in the Sekhukhune District and no injuries reported.
The MEC says they are ready to monitor all routes as pilgrims and holiday makers return to various place as the Easter weekend comes to an end.
