 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom. MAN IN COURT FOR ALLEGED DEFILEMENT OF 19-MONTH-OLD BABY. (PHOTO).

 Man in court for alleged defilement of 19-month-old baby


The Lagos State Government on Tuesday arraigned a man, Peter Oshomah, before an Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court, for allegedly defiling a 19-month-old baby (name withheld).


Oshomah was arraigned on a charge of defilement.


He pleaded not guilty to the charge.


The state counsel, Miss Inumidun Solarin, told the court that the defendant allegedly committed the offence on Feb. 5, 2024 at 5.25 p.m. at No. 8, DB Str., Shagari Estate in Ipaja, Lagos.


Solarin alleged the defendant defiled the minor by having unlawful sexual intercourse with her.


According to her, the alleged offence contravene Section 137 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State, 2015.


Justice Rahman Oshodi, remanded the defendant at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre.


Oshodi adjourned the case until July 1 for commencement of trial.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
