 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  NACA Raises Concern Over High HIV Rate in Taraba, Launches Mother-Child Prevention Committee


The National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) has raised alarm over Taraba State’s 2.9% HIV prevalence rate, urging urgent, united efforts to curb the spread and meet the 2030 target of ending AIDS.

NACA Director General, Dr. Temitope Ilori, made the call on Tuesday in Jalingo during the inauguration of the Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission (PMTCT) and Paediatric HIV Acceleration Committee (PPAC).


Ilori called for stronger collaboration among government, health workers, development partners, and communities, stressing that antiretroviral drugs remain freely available despite recent concerns.


Taraba’s AIDS Control Agency Director General, Dr. Bako Ali Istifanus, hailed the PPAC launch as a major step in eliminating mother-to-child HIV transmission and pledged full state support to the initiative.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
