 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity.  NAF Appoints Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame as Spokesperson


The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has appointed Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame as its new Director of Public Relations and Information.


He replaces Air Vice Marshal Olusola Akinboyewa, who has been reassigned to the Defence Headquarters as Director of Civil-Military Relations.


A seasoned officer, Ejodame has extensive experience in logistics, strategic planning, and defence management. He holds a PhD in Information Systems and Management Studies and has served as Nigeria’s Defence Adviser in Malaysia, among other key roles.


His appointment is expected to enhance the NAF’s public relations and communication strategies.
