 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. Nigerian Researcher Hilary Akpu Pioneers AI-Driven Worm Behaviour Study


Nigerian scientist Hilary Akpu has made a groundbreaking contribution to global research by integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into the study of worm mating behaviour.


His work revolutionizes animal behaviour tracking, using YOLOv8 and DeepSORT to enhance accuracy by 77%, eliminating labor-intensive manual observations. The AI-powered system also precisely detects physical interactions between worms, offering new insights into genetics and neurobiology.


A graduate of Mountain Top University with an MSc from the University of Reading, Akpu has also developed AI-driven medical diagnostics and a vaccination app that boosted infant immunization rates.


His cutting-edge research positions Nigeria at the forefront of AI-driven biological studies, with far-reaching implications for genetics, neurobiology, and environmental science.
