 Family and neighbors mourn woman shot by ICE agent after making Minneapolis her home  Before she was fatally shot by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer, 37-year-old Renee Good had just dropped her youngest child off at an elementary school in Minneapolis, the city she and her family had recently begun to call home. As Trump administration officials continued Thursday to describe Good as a domestic terrorist who tried to ram federal agents with her Honda Pilot, those who knew her remembered someone very different: a gentle, kind, and openhearted mother, wife, and neighbor. Good, her wife and her 6-year-old son had recently moved from Kansas City, Missouri, to a quiet Minneapolis neighborhood lined with older homes and small apartment buildings.  NPFL Fines Nasarawa United N6m, Banishes Team to Gombe After Fan Attack on Player


The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has imposed a N6 million fine on Nasarawa United for failing to provide adequate security during their matchday 33 clash against Plateau United, which ended in a 3-2 victory for the hosts. The NPFL also ordered the Solid Miners to play their remaining home matches this season at Pantami Stadium in Gombe, following an incident where Plateau United forward Vincent Temitope was attacked by a home supporter.


Nasarawa United has been directed to identify the culprit responsible for causing bodily harm to Temitope and provide evidence of their legal prosecution. Additionally, the club must implement effective matchday security and crowd control measures and submit a plan to the NPFL board before they can return to Lafia City Stadium in future seasons. The Lafia-based club has 48 hours from the date of the notice to appeal the sanctions.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
