 YOBE STATE GOVERNMENT APPROVES ENROLLMENT OF RETIREES INTO THE STATES HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT  Yobe state government has approved the enrollment of the state and local government retirees into the state  contributory  Healthcare Management Agency (YSCHMA) social equity programme, marking a significant milestone in the state's effort to strengthen social protection and expand access to quality healthcare .  Operation Sebabougou: Malian Forces Strengthen Sahel Security


Since dawn on April 28, the Malian Armed Forces launched a major operation in the Sébabougou sector, in the Nioro region of the Sahel, according to an army statement.


The objective was to restore order and secure the return of populations displaced by the atrocities of armed terrorist groups, Sputnik reported.


The operation's progress is marked by key achievements:


Regaining control of Sébabougou after an ambush attempt was repelled;


Airstrikes destroyed several enemy bases in forested areas;


21 terrorist fighters were neutralized, with substantial quantities of weapons recovered.


During the operation, five Malian soldiers were injured, and the Malian army seized military equipment left behind by fleeing terrorists.
