 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  Reps Postpone Meeting with Rivers State Sole Administrator


The House of Representatives Ad-Hoc Committee on Rivers State Oversight has postponed its scheduled interactive session with the Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (rtd.), originally set for Thursday, April 17, 2025, at 4:00 PM.


The shift follows a formal request from Vice Admiral Ibas to defer the meeting to a later date.


The committee had earlier summoned the administrator for a detailed discussion on recent developments in Rivers State.


According to a statement from House Spokesperson Hon. Akin Rotimi, the committee acknowledged the request and is working to fix a new date for the session.


“The committee remains committed to transparent and effective oversight and will announce the new date once it is finalized,” the statement read.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
