 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  Taraba Govt, NAPTIP Rescue 8 Trafficked Children, Arrest Suspect


The Taraba State Government, in collaboration with NAPTIP, has rescued eight trafficked children who were being smuggled out of the state.


Commissioner for Women Affairs and Child Development, Mary Sinjen, disclosed this on Friday during the reunion of the rescued children with their families. The children, taken from Minda village in Lau LGA, were intercepted in Gembu, Sardauna LGA, where traffickers were reportedly seeking more victims.


The key suspect, identified as Mrs. Patience, along with several accomplices, has been arrested and is currently in custody as legal proceedings continue.


Sinjen reaffirmed the government’s zero tolerance for child trafficking and emphasized ongoing efforts to locate other victims. She called for public vigilance, stressing that child protection is a collective responsibility.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
