 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service. TRUCK FALLS OFF PEN CINEMA BRIDGE, CRUSHES TWO BUSES IN LAGOS.(VIDEO/PHOTO).

Truck falls off Pen Cinema Bridge, crushes two buses in Lagos.


A fully-loaded truck (GGE 624 YJ) lost control while navigating the Pen Cinema Bridge and fell onto two commercial Volkswagen buses parked underneath.


Thankfully, the buses were empty.


According to the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), the truck driver sustained severe fractures to both hands. He was rescued by LASTMA officials and handed over to Elere Police officers before being taken to General Hospital, Ile-Epo, for urgent treatment.
