 YOBE STATE GOVERNMENT APPROVES ENROLLMENT OF RETIREES INTO THE STATES HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT  Yobe state government has approved the enrollment of the state and local government retirees into the state  contributory  Healthcare Management Agency (YSCHMA) social equity programme, marking a significant milestone in the state's effort to strengthen social protection and expand access to quality healthcare .  Trump Grants TikTok 75-Day Extension to Avoid U.S. Ban Amid Ongoing Sale Negotiations


President Donald Trump granted TikTok a 75-day extension to comply with a law requiring the app to either sell its U.S. operations or face a ban. TikTok, owned by the Chinese company ByteDance, has over 170 million U.S. users. Trump expressed hopes of working with both China and TikTok to finalize a deal, which remains pending and is subject to Chinese law approval.


This extension is part of efforts by the Trump administration to broker a deal for American ownership of TikTok's U.S. operations. Critics of a ban argue it infringes on free speech, while concerns about Chinese government influence fuel calls for the app's sale.
