 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  Catholic Priest Kidnapped In Kauru, Kaduna, Regains Freedom


A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Ibrahim Amos, who was abducted Thursday afternoon at Kurmin Risga, Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, has regained his freedom.


 According to Daily Trust, Fr. Amos, who served at St. Gerald Quasi Parish, was said to have returned home unharmed on Friday at about 2:00pm.


The announcement of his release was contained in a statement signed by Rev. Fr. Dr. Jacob Shanet, who expressed gratitude to God and thanked members of the public for their prayers and support throughout the difficult period.


Fr. Shanet also commended the efforts of the local vigilante group, the police, and the Department of State Services (DSS) for their role during the period of uncertainty.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
