 Texas man arrested with 75 pounds of marijuana in luggage while flying to London, police say A Texas man was arrested at Miami International Airport after authorities found 75 pounds of marijuana in his luggage before he could board a flight to London. Harrison O’Neill Tiernan, 23, from Austin, was charged with cannabis trafficking. He was traveling to Heathrow Airport and had checked two suitcases for his British Airways flight. Inspectors discovered 65 vacuum-sealed packages containing a green, leafy substance later confirmed to be marijuana. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers stopped Tiernan while he attempted to board the flight, and he acknowledged that the bags were his. Authorities noted the inspections were part of broader efforts at the airport due to high outbound narcotics activity. In total, Tiernan was carrying 34.01 kilograms, or 74.98 pounds, of marijuana. WALTON, KENTUCKY- 2 ELDERLY WOMEN LOSE THEIR LIVES AND ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL IS CRITICALLY INJURED IN A CRASH THAT CAUSED A DUMP TRUCK TO CRASH THROUGH RESTAURANT. (PHOTO).

 Walton, Kentucky- 2 elderly women lose their lives and another individual is critically injured in a crash that caused a dump truck to crash through restaurant. 


While diners were enjoying a meal at Boondocks Pub on Tuesday, April 8th, a tragic incident occurred shattering the peaceful scene. At around 4:30 p.m. an SUV pulled out in front of a fully loaded dump truck. The driver of the dump truck attempted to brake and steer clear of the SUV but they were not able to avoid a collision.


The SUV was struck by the dump truck and the impact caused the SUV to cross the southbound lane where it struck a guardrail and flipped before coming to rest on its top. Sadly the crash took the lives of 91-year-old Eva Mulberry and 89-year-old Betty Holland. A 66-year-old woman who was in the SUV was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition.


As a result of attempting to avoid the collision the dumptruck went of the roadway and into the parking lot of Boondocks restaurant. The dumptruck then collided with four parked cars before ultimately crashing through the front of the establishment. No one inside of the restaurant was injured as a result of the crash.


Our thoughts are with the families of the victims of this tragic incident.
