A 19-year-old Texas man survived a lightning strike while fishing with his mother the day before Mothers Day. Hunter Wyche proclaimed himself the "unluckiest lucky man" after he was struck by lightning on Saturday, May 10th. Hunter had taken his mother fishing along the Angelina River and was expecting a relaxing day catching up with his mom and maybe catching a few fish. However, while Hunter leaned against a tree, lightning struck, throwing him several feet and leaving him unconscious and wounded. Hunter blacked out during the ordeal and awoke to his mother and a crowd of people around him. As Hunter regained consciousness, he couldn't move his right foot and could barely move his leg. He believes the strike went through his stomach down his right leg and back out through the top of his foot.  The strike also caused wood to explode everywhere, leaving him with wood shrapnel embedded in his skin and face.  Wike successful unlike Ojudu who deceived Obasanjo – Lere Olayinka

Lere Olayinka, the Senior Special Adviser on Public Communications and Social Media to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, has lashed out at former presidential aide, Babafemi Ojudu for attacking the minister.

Olayinka described Wike as a more successful politician, unlike Ojudu who deceived former President Olusegun Obasanjo to carryout a coup that removed a democratically elected governor in Ekiti State.

He was reacting to a comment credited to Ojudu where he referred to Wike as someone who “carries on as though power is eternal, as if position it confers immortality.”

Ojudu, a former Special Adviser on Political Matters to ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, recently disclosed how he plotted the impeachment of former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose.

He disclosed that he plotted and scripted Fayose’s impeachment with the support of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

However, Olayinka said Ojudu lost political relevance and a chance to remain in power after his preferred presidential aspirant lost out during the All Progressives Congress primary election in 2022.

In a statement he signed, Olayinka said: “Egbon Femi Ojudu is pained, no doubt, but shouldn’t he limit his frustration to his “I too know” mindset that made him calculated wrongly on the 2023 presidential election?

“By the way, is he now in the farm, cultivating cocoyam and ewedu vegetable as he promised in 2022?

“Funny that someone like Femi Ojudu, who led a Political Coup in Ekiti is now the one sermonising about power not being eternal. Didn’t he know that power was not eternal when he was leading the coup that plunged Ekiti State into a state of emergency?

“At what point did Egbon Ojudu, a political coupist become an advocate of politics of fairness? When he lost his chance to remain in power after his preferred Presidential candidate lost the APC primary election?

“Unlike Ojudu, Wike has proven to be a better and more successful politician. Wike is not like Egbon Femi Ojudu, whose only major political achievement is deceiving President Obasanjo to remove illegally, a democratically elected Governor of Ekiti State.”
