 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.  WOMAN ( 31 ) ARRESTED FOR STABBING HER EX - BOYFRIEND TO DEATH IN GROBLERSDAL 



GROBLERSDAL: A 31 year old woman is facing murder charges after suspected of fatally stabbing her alleged former boyfriend in Groblersdal, Sekhukhune District on Saturday, 19 April at about 17h30. 


The police were alerted and on their arrival at the scene found the deceased laying at the veranda and also found the deceased ex-girlfriend  


It is further alleged that the deceased arrived and found the suspect who was with a friend. 


An argument arose between the woman and the victim and in the ensuing heated argument the man was stabbed with a sharp object allegedly by the ex girlfriend. 


The man attempted to flee the scene after being stabbed but he fell on the veranda and was certified dead by the Emergency Medical Services personnel . 


The  former girlfriend of the deceased was arrested on the scene. 


The suspect who is facing murder charge will appear before the local Magistrate's Court soon.
