 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  Zambia president pardons ex-defence minister jailed for corruption


Zambia's President Hakainde Hichilema has pardoned former defence minister Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba, popularly known as GBM, who has been serving a five-year prison sentence for corruption, TRT Afrika reported.


Mwamba was freed on medical grounds amid a social media storm on the state of his health in prison.


Security Minister Jack Mwiimbu told journalists on Thursday that the former minister had petitioned the president in February for his release, the public broadcaster ZNBC reports.


Mwamba has withdrawn his appeal against the conviction as part of the conditions for his release, it adds.


Worsening cancer


Last month the former minister moved to court to seek his release on medical grounds in order to receive treatment abroad for worsening prostate cancer, according to local reports.


His lawyers were quoted as saying that the required treatment was unavailable in Zambia.


Mwamba served as defence minister under President Michael Sata's administration from 2011 to 2013. He was Hakainde's running mate in the 2016 presidential election although they lost.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
