 LAGOS-IBADAN  KARA BRIDGE ACCIDENT: NO CASUALTY AS  CONTAINER TRUCK CRASHES INTO SIX VEHICLES The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, has confirmed that no life was lost and no one susttained injury when a 40-foot container truck crashed into six other vehicles at Kara Bridge, inward OPIC, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Tuesday morning.  The statement says the container truck, which had no registration number, reportedly developed a mechanical fault while in motion, lost control and rammed into the other vehicles. It notes seven vehicles were involved in the crash but the LASEMA’s LRT Tiger Squad, stationed at C3, responded alongside police who moved quickly to manage the scene to prevent another accident.  $25bn Nigeria-Morocco Gas Pipeline Tops Tinubu’s Agenda – Senator Ibrahim


President Bola Tinubu has prioritised the $25bn Nigeria-Morocco gas pipeline project, Senator Jimoh Ibrahim said at the African Parliament Union in Casablanca. 


The 5,660km pipeline, expected to transport 30 billion cubic metres of gas annually through 13 African countries, aims to boost regional development and job creation. Ibrahim urged Morocco to ease visa restrictions for Nigerians, citing mutual economic benefits. The project is currently in its feasibility phase, with final investment decisions expected in 2025.
