 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. A CALIFORNIA FATHER HAS PASSED AWAY AFTER HIS TEENAGE DAUGHTER WENT OVER AN EMBANKMENT WHILE HE WAS TEACHING HER TO DRIVE.(PHOTO).

 A California father has passed away after his teenage daughter went over an embankment while he was teaching her to drive.


An absolute tragedy occurred in Laguana Beach, CA on Monday, May 26th. On that day, a 15-year-old girl was out with her 64-year-old father.  


The father was attempting to teach the young girl to drive when disaster struck. According to authorities, they believe the young girl got the gas pedal and brake pedal mixed up. This is a common mistake in new drivers. The girl thought she was hitting the brake but instead accelerated rapidly, sending the vehicle plummeting 40 feet down an embankment.


The father was pronounced deceased on scene. Sadly, the young girl was rushed to the hospital with significant injuries but she is reported to be in stable condition thankfully.


Our thoughts are the young girl and her family . We do hope she realizes that this was an accident and it could have happened to any new driver. ❤️‍🩹
