 NEMA COORDINATES SAR OPS AT THE SCENE OF BUILDING COLLAPSE INVOLVING A THREE STOREY BUILDING UNDER CONSTRUCTION AT GUDU AREA OF FCT At about 0945hrs on Saturday 16th May, 2026, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was alerted of a building collapse at Gudu District of FCT.  Critical stakeholders including Federal Fire, FCT Fire, NSCDC, NPF, FRSC and Federal Capital Territory Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) were activated while a response team of NEMA from the Abuja Operations Office led by the Head of Operations Mr Zakari Abubakar  and operatives from AYA Emergency Response Bay (ERAB) were deployed to the scene for quick response and coordination.  A reinforcement team  from NEMA Headquarters led by the Director Search and Response (DSAR) Air Cdre Bature Usman was also on ground to provide necessary backup and supervision.  A MOMENT OF GRATITUDE AND RENEWED COMMITMENT @ 65!

Today, as I mark my 65th birthday, my heart is filled with gratitude to the Almighty God for the gift of life, the grace of leadership, and the privilege to serve the good people of Ogun State. I do not take for granted the journey that has brought me this far — a journey shaped by divine mercy, the unwavering support of my family, friends, and the trust reposed in me by our people.


These past six years as Governor of Ogun State have been both humbling and fulfilling. I have learned, grown, and drawn strength from the resilience of our citizens and the collective determination to build a state we can all be proud of. Every milestone we have reached is a testament to what is possible when leadership is driven by purpose and backed by the people.


As I celebrate this personal milestone, I am reminded that the true measure of a life well-lived is not in the number of years, but in the impact made. I rededicate myself to the vision of a more prosperous, inclusive, and sustainable Ogun State — where every citizen can thrive and every community feels seen. 


The journey continues, and by God’s grace, the best is yet to come.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
