 CARSPO 2026: DAY TWO FEATURES STRATEGIC SESSIONS ON SMART POLICING, ELECTION SECURITY The second day of the sixth edition of the Conference and Retreat for Senior Police Officers, CARSPO 2026, holding in Owerri, Imo State, has featured strategic lectures, discussions and an interactive session on Tuesday, 22nd September 2026. The sessions have focused on contemporary policing issues, strategic communication, operational preparedness and election-security management. The programme has also featured an interactive session with the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, as senior police officers and resource persons continue deliberations on strengthening policing practice and security preparations for the 2027 General Elections.  EFCC Arrests 31 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Port Harcourt


 


Officers of the Port Harcourt Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 arrested 31 suspected internet fraudsters at different locations in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.


 


Their arrest followed credible intelligence that linked them to fraudulent internet activities.


 


Items recovered from them include cars, smart phones, smart wristwatches and laptop computers.


 


They will be charged to court upon conclusion of investigation.
